Appropriate resource recovery methods are determined based on the characteristics and composition of the incoming waste. The incineration process employs advanced technology and know-how, handling the destruction of socially problematic substances such as fluorocarbons, from temperature management to processing analysis. 【Joetsu Factory】 Handles the treatment of waste acids, waste alkalis, and sludge. We are working on the recovery and reuse of metal resources from waste liquids, and we manage about 15% of the total national entrusted processing volume of electroless nickel plating waste liquid, achieving the recycling of nickel and phosphoric acid contained in the waste liquid. These are supplied as industrial materials and fertilizer raw materials, respectively. 【Bunsui Factory】 In addition to handling sludge and similar materials, we achieve harmlessness and reuse by conducting integrated processing of metals and plastics that may be contaminated with hazardous substances through washing and crushing (dismantling). 【Tsubame Factory】 A technology development-type intermediate processing facility that houses an environmental technology research institution. We are working on achieving safer harmless treatment and the regeneration and reuse of useful resources by practical application of advanced chemical reaction treatment technologies to ensure that hazardous substances do not leach out from sludge-like materials.
